1st issue of the 4SiM Newsletter
This first edition introduces the project’s vision to develop an innovative socio-technical simulation environment for manufacturing education, presents our partnership, and highlights the first steps already taken toward building the 4SiM learning platform. We sincerely thank all partners and contributors for their collaboration and commitment, and we look forward to sharing the project’s progress and achievements in the issues to come.
Initial consortium kickoff meeting
Online kickoff meeting held with all partners. Administrative status, PM recruitment and next steps discussed.
Team of Experts: invitation letter v2 & composition clarified
The updated invitation letter now includes a concrete text chapter and the EU logo. WP2.1 will engage 20 experts in total—10 industry and 10 other stakeholders (academia, public sector, etc.). We’ll aim for 4+ nominees per institution, with a lighter contribution expected from Spindox.
Expert Group Established to Support 4SiM Program Development
A strong group of experts from industry and academia in lean production, safety, quality, and human factors has been formed within the 4SiM project to provide valuable input and ensure alignment with current industry practices.
Manuscript (draft) released for review
Draft manuscript now available to reviewers; includes detailed methodology and statistics.
